This Web site is all about building an interactive community, and we encourage you to send us your photos, stories, opinions, and suggestions for posting to the site.  You may submit them in a simple email as outlined below.   Your submission will be posted within 2 to 3 business days.  You will get an email with a link to the page on which your submission appears as soon as it is posted.  Please see our submission policies at the bottome of this page.   Thank you!

Add your photo to the Pride Photo Gallery

Because most New Agers walk an individual path outside of traditional religious community, we may sometimes feel lonely and cut off from the fellowship of others.  This photo gallery is here to give you tangible evidence that we are not alone, but part of a thriving movement, We welcome all digital photos that declare a New Age identity.   (Please make sure the words
"New Age" are included in your statement of pride).

Simply attach the file to an email addressed to scott.ballou@newagepride.org.

Tell Your Story, Share Your Journey

We would love to hear about your own spiritual journey, and how you arrived at recognizing yourself as a New Ager.  What does the New Age mean in your life?  Have your beliefs helped or hindered you as you confront the challenges of daily living? How do you see the New Age impacting the future?

You may type your story into the body of an email or attach a Word document to the email.  Send to: scott.ballou@newagepride.org.

Share Your Opinion, Join the Debate

Because the New Age is founded in part on the principle that "truth is relative," seeing issues from various viewpoints and becoming familiar with the opinions of others is an important part of truth-seeking.

If you have thoughts to add in answer to a topic on our Opinion Page, or would like to submit a comment or suggestion for a new subject, please email them to scott.ballou@newagepride.org.

Submit Your Article or Essay

In the Dr. Seuss story of Horton Hears a Who, it is the addition of small JoJo’s voice to those of the rest of the community that finally makes it possible for them all to be heard.  We believe the same principle is true for the New Age and this site, and we want to hear from all of you, writing on any aspect of this field that matters to you.

In the interests of clarity and length, we ask your permission to edit your submissions. We will get your approval before adding an edited version to the site. We welcome all opinions and insights about the New Age and what it means to you but will not print anything deliberately negative or unkind.

Send your submissions to judith@newagepride.org.

Policy on Inclusivity

The term New Ager may be applied to a large group of people (many of whom don’t like the term) who have little in common except a conviction that a New Age of humanity and Earth is coming soon, that its inception will be not just an improvement but a transformation of the status quo, and that the nature of the New Age will be peace, love, light, harmony, and joy. This concept has been consistent for more than 3000 years.  Beyond that, none of us really know exactly what the New Age will be like. There are many ideas, theories and hopes, but no one has been there yet. What we can define about the New Age is the values that guide it – essentially the spiritual values that are so painfully lacking in the current paradigm.

One of the spiritual values of the New Age is inclusivity. That is, the New Age community includes all who choose it. The religions of the old paradigm are based on exclusivity and belief systems: if you do not believe as we do and follow our rules, then you are not one of us; you are excluded (excommunicated) from our community. The New Age is based on a values system, and does not exclude those with differing beliefs. Your “passport” to the New Age is an inner affirmation of the validity of basic spiritual values – those values that transcend religion – and a desire to be part of a society based on those values. The New Age is inclusive, not exclusive.

In keeping with the New Age value of inclusivity, this web site is inclusive.  Our focus is on the spiritual values that we hold in common rather than on individual beliefs that might separate us. We do not necessarily agree with every concept or opinion shared by contributors to this website. However, we welcome and include ideas, viewpoints, thoughts and questions representing a wide variety of New Age interests. We believe that if you are of the New Age, you will find here much that speaks to you, as well as some things that do not.

Policy on submissions

If you are a commercially published author with a book that falls in the broad field of “New Age” thought, you are invited to send us a page or two of your published work, as a way of introducing our site visitors to you and your book. This material may appear on your author page along with announcements of upcoming events, a listing of books available for sale, author notes, and your photograph. Your responses to the Authors’ Roundtable discussion questions will be included in that part of our site.

If you are not a commercially published author but you would like to share with us your thoughts or interests or concerns about the New Age, these are welcome and should be sent to Judith Watson, our Submissions Editor at: Judith.newagepride@gmail.com.

We will not edit your writing for content.  We will review it for basic grammar and clarity of presentation. If we have questions or concerns about what you have written, we will contact you to discuss these.

We will not print anything that is substantially or deliberately negative.  Negativity is not a New Age value.
